What is Balayage?

Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint". It is a hair painting technique creating a sun-kissed natural look with softer, less noticeable regrowth lines.

Should I wash my hair before my hair color appointment?

Yes ! Products, oils and minerals from well water can affect how hair color penetrates the hair cuticle which can result in uneven color.  For all color services, I recommend washing with UNITE Weekender shampoo prior to your hair appointment to remove any buildup you may have on your hair to prep your hair for your color service. 

 

What if I need to cancel/reschedule my appointment?

We require a 24 hour notice for cancellation or schedule changes.

 

Clients cancelling or rescheduling with less than 24 hour notice will be charged 50% of your scheduled service or a minimum charge of $50 (whichever is greater). No shows will require 100% of the service booked to be paid before rescheduling. 

 

This fee will be required to be paid in order to book future appointments.

I'm going to be late- is that ok?

In efforts to keep on schedule, I do enforce a 15 minute tardy policy. If you will be over 15 minutes late to your scheduled start time, I respectfully require you to reschedule.

Can I bring my children or fur-babies to the salon?

Because of the utmost respect for your comfort, as well as that of others, I ask that you please refrain from bringing children to the salon unless they are receiving services. If they are receiving a service, we ask that they not play with or touch any of the professional tools, chemicals or styling chairs for their own safety. 

I am a pet lover! However, unless your dog is a service dog, it is against health code to bring animals to the salon.
